 Daniel Dobrow (b. 1994) studied art and chemistry at the University of Minnesota. He received a postbaccalaureate in ceramics from Southern Illinois University. He recently finished his second year in residence at the Morean Center for Clay in St. Petersburg, Florida. His work is influenced by art history, craft theory, modern construction materials and techniques, consumerism, and his personal history broadly, and specifically as a potter. He has exhibited his work nationally and extensively in the Tampa Bay region. In addition to his art practice, he has curated multiple exhibitions focused on the field of ceramics and giving voice to under-exhibited young artists.
