“My Work And Research Is Focused On The Changing Landscape, Environmental Awareness And The More Recent Effects Of Globalization. As An Artist, I Use Nontraditional Materials To Create Provisional Drawings, Etchings, Paintings, And Digitally Printed Works That Respond To The Effects Of Accelerated Entropy.”
Isabel Gouveia was born in Brazil and lives and works in Lake Worth, FL. She graduated as an Industrial Designer from the Arts Foundation Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo and MFA from Florida Atlantic University. Gouveia was recently awarded a grant from the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County’s new fellowship program.
