“My painting technique is a physical performance. A contemplative therapeutic exercise in losing control of thoughts and living in the moment. Balance, harmony, and beauty exists alongside a foreboding horizon. The horizon line is a recurrent thematic symbol in my work. A symbol of something beyond reach. An all knowing realization that there is a limit to experiences and comprehension.” @charlesjacksonadkinsjr
