Become a part of the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood as a volunteer! 

The success of our events and operations is supported by the commitment our volunteers have to the Center and the arts community. Adults of any age or busy schedule, we have opportunities for you to get involved in the local arts scene while also having fun! 

 

The Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is seeking volunteers to help staff with gallery receptions, fundraising events, education programs, live performances, marketing outreach, and administration tasks. We owe much of our success to adult and youth volunteers who give their time, talent, and expertise to support our work with artists, educators and patrons of all ages and backgrounds.  

 

Get involved at the Center and have fun while you’re at it! 

Opportunities include:  

 

Fundraising Events

  • Greet and check in guests

  • Bar back (21+ only)

  • Monitor our silent auction 

  • Sell chance-drawing tickets 

  • Take event photographs & videos

 

Education Programs

  • Assist staff with art-making projects 

  • Direct crowds and help with check-in

  • Assist at the theater during performances

 

Gallery Receptions and Events

  • Assist with hospitality

  • Help with check-in of visitors/members and compile attendance

  • Serve as gallery monitor for exhibition spaces

  • Bar back (21+ only)

  • Troubleshoot spills and clean-up

Teens ages 13-17 are encouraged to volunteer at the Center to further their engagement in the arts while earning community service hours needed for graduation.
