ABSTRACTED: Paint, Sculpt, Create!

Dive into the captivating world of abstract art at Free Arts! Family Day and explore visionary works by artists Francie Bishop Good, Karen Snouffer, and Sara Stites. Discover how abstract art breaks free from tradition, utilizing vibrant colorsto evoke emotions.

Families learned how different cultures, such as Germany, embrace abstract art as a means of self-expression, using color symbolism to establish visual connections. They observed how colors interact with the artwork, amplifying the emotions and thoughts conveyed through the art on view at the Center.

Unleash your imagination and create your own abstract sculptures using air-dry clay and acrylic paint.
