Hollywood Beach Golf Club

The 2020 Golf for Art took place on Dec. 12, 2020 and was a day of golf and fun benefiting the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood. The event took place at the championship, par-70, Hollywood Beach Golf Club. Golfers enjoyed a continental breakfast (brown bag) with coffee, Bloody Mary’s and Screwdrivers; beverage stations offering complimentary vodka drinks, beer, Gatorade, water, and sodas. Golfers also won door prizes including golf foursomes at Hollywood Beach Golf Club and Eco Golf Club. â€‹Our hole-in-one contest, sponsored by Kia Hollywood, features the chance to win a 36-month lease on a 2021 Kia K5 EX or other prizes including a Swing Caddie SC200 Portable Launch Monitor, an L4 Laser Rangefinder with Slope, a  $500 Nike Golf Shopping Spree, or a vacation for four (4) at the exquisite and breathtaking Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa in Lajitas, TX. In addition, every golfer receives a complimentary Family membership to the Center!

During the tournament, golfers were able to purchase Mulligans, enter our 50/50 raffle, test out their accuracy with the ball launcher and more, all to help raise funds for the Center. Prizes were also awarded to the most colorful golf outfit as well as awarded a special recognition for “most colorfully dressed” - Man, Woman and Foursome.

The tournament started at 8:00 am and tee times were staggered with two (2) foursomes every 10 minutes.

The Art and Culture Center values the health of our guests, community, and staff members.  Golf for Art followed COVID-19 protocols including staggered tee times to ensure proper social distancing. We also limited the field to just 60 golfers in order to ensure proper social distancing measures and comply with the county’s Emergency Order 20-21. We look f forward to seeing you at out Golf for Art fundraiser in 2021!
