September Free Arts! Family Day Activity Video

On Sunday, September 20, 2020, the Art and Culture Center celebrated International Peace Day during its monthly Free Arts! Family Days. During September’s activity, Find Your Guiding Star, guests worked together to create their very own cosmic configuration as they explored the story of the stars.

During this free event, guests were also able to enjoy the three current exhibitions in the safe and inspiring Art and Culture Center/Hollywood galleries. The exhibitions on view were: Exposed: Exhibition and Fundraiser, Open Dialogues: Stories From the LGBTQ Community, and Rosa Naday Garmentida: Not So Far Away - No Tan Lejos.

If you missed the activity, the Center has created a step-by-step instructional video on how to create your constellation using items in your home. Additional items, including markers, colored pencils, and scissors.

List of Items:

  • Black Construction Paper

  • Card Stock

  • White, Gold or Silver Crayon

  • Toothpick

Free Arts! Family Days is funded in part by PNC Arts Alive, and City of Hollywood General Fund Social Service Agency Grant.

Don’t miss our next Free Arts! Family Day on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
