In collaboration with Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts, the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is excited to introduce our new Spring Break Music Theater Workshop. If you’ve ever wanted to create your own musical from scratch, then this workshop is for you! Join us for one of the most authentic, unique, and genuine musical theater experiences unlike any other you’ve ever had!
Over the course of spring break week, student performers will write every line and lyric, led and directed by the skilled staff who have crafted the art of the Lovewell Method. The Lovewell Institute provides interdisciplinary arts-based programs that empower people from all cultures and economic backgrounds to find their authentic voice through the collaborative creation and performance of an original work of theater.
The week will conclude in a brand new original musical created by the students and Lovewell Institute’s staff performed by the students. This is the true definition of a “World Premiere” and what an awesome experience for all involved.
All of this in a week? Yes! After just one week, you will witness the production of an original work of art. The Center and Lovewell will provide education, training, research, curricula, and practical experience to student artists showcasing the relationship between the arts and education. Please join us and see what we can create by creating together!
