
TEEN ARTS AMBASSADORS
Thank you for your interest in the Summer Teen Arts Ambassador Program.
We are currently not accepting any more candidates for the Summer Session unless they have experience in theatre and/or performing arts.

Our school year program will begin in the fall.

In this FREE program, teens will:
-
Explore and examine their shared interest in the arts
-
Learn and develop communication skills
-
Build camaraderie and connections with fellow participants and the Center staff
-
Earn community service hours while volunteering at Center events and programs
-
Gain access to the Center’s galleries and view exciting exhibitions
-
Showcase skills gained and developed during meetings at a culminating presentation
-

All applicants must commit to:
-
Signing the Arts Aspire participation agreement with their parent/guardian
-
Attending mandatory meetings up to 2x a month on Mondays 4 - 5:30 pm
-
Completing a minimum of 15 hours of community service during the Fall Term and
20 hours during the Spring Term of the School Year Session -
Adhering to our program policies (hours requirement, cell phone policy, attendance etc.)

The Teen Arts Ambassadors Summer Session offers counselor-in-training positions at our Summer Arts Camp.
​
To be considered for a position in the program, teens must:

Register and submit the $50.00 non-refundable fee
-
Have a teacher, coach, or guidance counselor complete a recommendation form
-
Complete a brief virtual or phone interview to make sure you are a right fit for the program
​
Accepted candidates will:
-
Assist campers to follow instructions during activities.
-
Interact with campers and the camp team in an engaged and positive manner.
-
Help set up the camp space for activities and model the cleanup process for campers.
-
Play and organize games and activities for campers during breaks.
-
Further develop their leadership and communication skills.
-
Collaborate with other teen volunteers to complete tasks.
-
Assist in supervision of campers during activities, snack, and lunch breaks.
-
Follow and adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Arts Aspire Handbook.
-
Earn up to 300 community service hours.
-

If accepted:
-
Submit the remaining $150.00 to participate in their first term.

Complete a Level II Background Check.
-
Attend the mandatory training
​
Cost to participate: $50 Non-refundable Application Fee + $150 Administrative Fee
Total: $200 for first session.
Only an additional $75.00 for second session.
​
If you were previously a TAA in the school year and/or summer: Those invited to participate in Summer 2023 will have the program fee waived. Additionally, you may be promoted to an Arts Associate and qualify for a small stipend!
